Pricing

You can use a ticket to hop on and off any park & ride bus all day. For example, get off at the hospital or rail station, then get back on to go to the town centre, then back out to the park & ride site. The ticket can only be used once from a park & ride site.

Payments 

Board the bus and pay the driver as you board, coins and card payment accepted. If paying by cash, please have the correct fare if possible.

If you are not using the bus service and parking only you will need to pay at exit kiosk by contactless card or via Mobon location 122001

Park and Pedal

 Either bring your bike with you . leave your car at site and cycle to your destination and payment to be made by contactless card at the exit kiosk or we also offer secure cycle lockers at £20pm which incudes free parking check website for details Bikeaway Locker Management

FAQ

Can I use my Concessionary bus pass on the Park and Ride?

  • Travel is £1.50 return at all times, for holders of a valid Essex Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) Pass.

How many can I have in my group?

  •   Group tickets are for up to 2 adults and 3 children who arrive in the same car

Can I take my dog/pet on the bus?

  •   Disabled passengers are allowed to travel with their guide, assistance or hearing dog. The passenger must comply with any instructions given by the driver. The carrying of other dogs is allowed if they are well behaved.

What should I do if I think I have left something on one of the Park and Ride services? 

Can I walk up and use the park and ride? 

  • Yes, you can walk to the park and ride or use the service at any stop and pay on the bus

Can I drop or pick someone up from the site without paying?

  • Yes there is a 20 minute free period

Can i get out of the site when its closed?

  • Once the service ends you will be unable to exit the car park after it is locked
